Why Alice only
On the Russian market, ad blocks inside AI answers exist only for Alice today. Other AI services (ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity) don't show ads in responses, so the whole section is built on Alice data. Yandex itself doesn't yet offer a separate toggle to «promote in Alice AI». Ads land there automatically, and our data lets you see exactly which ones and from whom.
Top of the section
Three cards in the header with key numbers:
- Ответы с рекламой. Answers with ads: how many unique answers contain ad blocks and what share of total answers it is.
- Уникальных доменов. Unique domains: how many distinct domains have shown up in ad blocks at least once.
- Конкурентная реклама. Competitor ads: how many times a competitor's domain appeared in ad blocks.
Three tabs
Then come three tabs: top domains, dynamics by day and a table of all blocks.
1. Top ad domains
A horizontal chart with the top-20 domains that show up most often in Alice ad blocks. Each domain is colored by type: ours, competitors, others. You instantly see who occupies the ad positions in your niche.
The chart is clickable. Clicking a segment opens a window with specific ads of that domain: title, body, URL, source, the query it was found by and the date. Useful to see how a specific brand's ads look.
2. Dynamics
A line chart of ad blocks by day. Shows the dates when ad activity in Alice spiked or dropped. Good for spotting waves of competitor campaigns or your own surge.
3. Table
The most detailed tab. Every row is a specific ad block from an Alice answer.
Columns
- Домен. Domain and favicon. Click opens the site in a new tab.
- Тип. Type: Ours, Competitors or Other.
- Заголовок. Ad title.
- Текст. Ad body text.
- URL. Landing page URL.
- Источник. Source, here always «Alice search».
- Ссылки. Number of sitelinks inside the ad.
- Дата. Date when the block was spotted.
- Запрос. Search query that triggered the ad in the Alice answer.
Search
Above the table there's a search with a scope selector: everywhere, by domain, by URL, by title or by ad body. Handy to find a specific ad or to surface every block of a given brand.
Filters
Filters are on the left:
- Компания. Company to view ads for.
- Продукт. Specific product if the company has several.
- Кластеры. Query clusters. Useful to narrow the picture to one topic.
- Тип рекламы. Ad type: Ours, Competitors, Ours and Competitors or Other. Quickly separates your ad stream from the rest.
- Период. Time range: 24 hours, 7 days, 30 days or all time.
When to use
The section shows real patterns of landing in Alice ad blocks. You can see which competitors regularly hold ad positions for your queries, what copy and titles they use, and whether you land in those blocks yourself. It's especially valuable because Yandex currently has no manual control over Alice AI placement: everything flows there automatically from the general ad funnel.
