Reindex

Reindex rebuilds analytics across all responses of a chosen company. Use it after changing the company structure or competitors when you want to refresh old data with the new context.

How analytics work

Each query goes to an AI service and returns a response. Then the system walks through the response text and looks for mentions of your brand and competitors, as well as their synonyms. All analytics are built on top of those mentions: sentiment, share of voice, sources, competitor comparison.

So the analytics accuracy directly depends on how well your company and competitor structure is filled at the moment of analysis.

When you need reindex

  • You added a new competitor and want to see it in analytics over already collected responses.
  • You added or fixed synonyms for the company or competitors.
  • You spotted inaccuracies in the data, like missing mentions.
  • You updated general analysis settings and want to apply them to old responses.

How to launch

Open the Queries section → Reindex tab. You'll see the Run reindex block with a company dropdown.

  1. Pick the company you want to rebuild analytics for.
  2. Click Run reindex.
  3. Confirm in the Run reindex? dialog. Old mentions get removed and recreated based on the current company structure.

What runs in the background

Reindex runs in the background and doesn't block other work in the system. It can take from a few seconds to an hour depending on data volume. Queries and responses are not deleted, only the analytics layer is refreshed: mentions, sources, sentiment, competitor comparison.
